Job Description:
Designs and implements scalable Cloud based distributed
solutions with emphasis on architectural patterns at different
levels of testing -- unit, component, integration, and functional
-- using Splunk and Datadog tools -- in an Agile environment.
Automates pipelines, using Continuous Integration and Continuous
Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies, and Git, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy,
Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes. Provides analysis leadership on
complex systems analysis projects, often across subsystems and
companies, in a matrix organization. Consults with business users
to develop recommendations that address difficult and complex
business needs and opportunities. Primary Responsibilities: Leads and conducts interviews with business users to gather
requirements, and understands technology needs as well as system
and workflow challenges. Develops recommendations that address difficult and complex
business needs and opportunities. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex systems
analysis projects, and defines project scope. Leads other analysts in the execution of documents on large and
complex projects and monitors the quality and progress of documents
created by other analysts. Designs new systems based on requirements. Leads and participates in the definition of test strategies, and
coordinates user acceptance testing efforts. Communicates progress of multiple projects to management,
engages stakeholders on a regular basis, and manages expectations
of internal and external stakeholders. Serves as industry subject matter expert, and identifies other
subject matter experts who are the sources of requirements for
large and complex projects. Works with other teams to evolve standards and best practices
for systems analysis processes. Participates in incident/crisis management to assess business
impact, determine/facilitate any workarounds, in concert with the
production support organization. Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies. Coaches and mentors junior product analysts and developers on
systems analysis techniques and business workflows. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years
of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of performing
systems analysis, and designing and developing large scale credit
and market risk, and margin applications in a financial services
domain. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience performing systems analysis, and
designing and developing large scale credit and market risk, and
margin applications in a financial services domain. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) designing brokerage risk and margin
applications, using Angular JS, Java, SQL, PL/SQL, DB2, and
Oracle12C; performing data mapping of HTTP REST calls, Postman, and
Splunk; establishing tracking notebooks and monitors to track
application usage index limits using Cloud based log monitoring
tools -- Data Dog; designing ETL batch load processes, using
Informatica Power Center and Control-M; performing real-time data
processing and streaming using Kafka messaging technology;
establishing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
(CI/CD) pipeline processes, using Jenkins and uDeploy; and
integrating Cloud responsive frameworks -- Spring Boot and Spring
Cloud Config -- into design solutions, using Docker and
Kubernetes. DE designing and performing systems analysis on enterprise Web
applications, and real-time risk and margin requirements
calculation engines, using SQL, PL/SQL, Java, RESTful Services,
Informatica Power Center, DB2, and Mainframe Systems; designing
large-scale and data migration solutions for Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) systems -- Sibel to Salesforce platform migration,
and batch based migrations, including Informatica, and DB2 and
Oracle Relational databases; and designing real-time event based
data subscriptions through Kafka Topics and ad-hoc reporting
capabilities, using OBIEE, QlikView, and Business Objects. DE performing quality assurance, business acceptance,
regression, and functional testing, using SOAP UI, PL/SQL
developer, IBM Data Studio, Cucumber, and Fitnesse; performing
development integration testing (DIT), using Java and JUnit;
performing test automation of Web services, using SOAP Sonar,
SOAPUI, iTKO Lisa, Selenium, and SOAtest; performing database and
ETL test automation, using DB Fit and iCEDQ; and performing defect
logging, using Jira and HP Quality Center. DE creating projects stories, backlogs, and references using
enterprise tools -- Atlassian, Jira, and Confluence -- to execute
project deliverables; providing project management for Scrum teams
-- creating and project managing business, design, development, and
test stories -- according to Agile methodologies; and performing
backlog refinement, retrospective, and sprint planning within a
