Job Description - Vice President - Mobility Specialist (HUM000724) Vice President - Mobility Specialist ( Job Number: HUM000724 ) Business Overview: The CIB Americas International Mobility team supports the design, management, implementation, and communication of BNP Paribas Americas Mobility programs. The team provides expertise and consultation regarding mobility across the organization, and covers immigration matters for the U.S. platform.             • Provides expertise and consultation regarding mobility across the organization.
            • Assists the Head of CIB Americas International Mobility with ensuring an integrated approach and practices that deliver on the organization's mobility objectives.
              • This includes implementing policies and procedures for International Mobility in the Americas in line with both Group and CIB Procedures, assuring compliance and adherence to business objectives, and supporting Mobility-related projects. Mobility Management and Support:
                • Assists all expatriate employees relocating to the Americas ("inbound expatriates"):
                  • Manages relocation assistance
                  • Implements the necessary benefit payments through Payroll
                  • Implements the necessary deductions for security deposit and social charges when relevant
                  • Run package calculations for all expatriates potentially relocating outside of the Americas ("outbound expatriates"); provides explanations to potential expatriates and business managers and manages approval process by host and home country.
                  • Maintains expatriate data for all inbound and outbound expatriates.
                  • Monitors all expatriate benefits payments (housing allowance, housing contribution, school fees, home leave, currency protection, and relocation allowance, storage---) to ensure eligibility and accuracy of the payments.
                  • Works closely with Payroll, Compensation and Benefits, H/R Finance and external tax provider to prepare year-end processing for expatriates.
                  • Coordinates with HR Finance for ad-hoc reporting.
                  • Works closely with all Mobility vendors.
                  • Provides support to the HR Operations team on expatriate data as they perform centralized HRIS master data maintenance (job code, department, grade, salary structure, etc.) in HRIS system and associated employee data reporting.
                  • Provides support in the development of procedures to the business on business traveler issues. - Assures Compliance and Adherence to Business Objectives:
                    • Proactively stays up-to-date on trends and developments within assigned functional area of expertise, proactively providing ideas and information to the director regarding best practices and trends. Works to enhance the capability of self and team.
                    • Maintains all compliance requirements. Analyzes and corrects errors and ensures proper quality controls are in place to avoid future errors.
                    • Assists management with the execution of compliance programs, internal audits, external audits, and government audits.
                    • May assist management in adhering to business objectives and costs by providing data, input, review, analysis, modeling, or other information and support.
                    • Works with the HR Operations team to review and assist with the ongoing development, evaluation, and maintenance of documentation (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions) to ensure complete, accurate, and up-to-date depiction of processes.
                    • Performs, documents and reports all controls relevant to International Mobility. Special Projects / Program Management:
                      • Supports major projects such as acquisitions, divestitures, or restructuring related to assigned functional area.
                      • Partners with other groups to coordinate service delivery strategies and processes across the organization. Participates in, leads, or supports cross-functional service center projects and ensures timely completion of assigned responsibilities within established constraints.
                      • Partners with the HR Operations team to design and develop functional reports and metrics. Reviews and analyzes information to drive performance, identifies trends, and develops/implements functional improvements, escalating issues and proposed solutions as appropriate.

                          • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, & experience required
                          • 6+ years' experience in Mobility and similar roles; may also have experience in other roles with deep subject matter expertise
                          • Experience with Microsoft tools and applications required; advanced excel skills required
                          • Some interdisciplinary perspective and experience; end-to-end knowledge of processes
                          • Experience working, monitoring, and interacting with third-party vendors Preferred Qualifications:
                            • Experience in a service delivery model with shared services preferred
