Regulatory Reporting QA VP Job Locations US-NJ-Jersey City Posting Date 3 days ago (8/9/2021 4:02 PM) Career Category Regulatory Reporting iCIMS ID 2021-10383 Corporate Title VP Type Fulltime-Regular Overview The VP will lead an associate in daily work, and is responsible for conducting quality assurance activities around regulatory reports; ensure that the reports are prepared in accordance with regulatory reporting instructions, meet industry's best practices, as well as communicating/monitoring issues and enhancement opportunities to senior management. In addition, this position supports management with the regulatory exams as well as interim status updates with senior management. This position requires expertise in regulatory reporting, as well as experience in audit/review, project management. Responsibilities
                    • Interact with various business areas, understand process/workflows at various stages, identify potential enhancements to the regulatory reporting process; -
                    • Drive the risk assessment process, conduct effective test of design/test of execution over controls in US regulatory reporot production (e.g. Y9-C, Y15, FFIEC 002)
                    • Ensure timely delivery of high quality, value added testing reports that address key risks
                    • Monitor, escalate, and report issues to management or other relevant stakeholders on a periodic basis; monitor the remediation of issues to ensure they are resolved satisfactorily and on a timely basis
                    • Proactively advances integrated auditing concepts Qualifications
                      • 8+ year of experience in a related role, in regulatory reporting and the financial services industry
                      • Audit experience (internal or external) is required
                      • Bachelor's degree, CPA, CIA are a plus
                      • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
