SUMMARY The primary function of the Senior Accountant is to act as
a liaison between the Company's U.S. headquarters and its foreign
subsidiaries. The objective of the position will be to ensure that
the financial results of the subsidiaries are properly reported
based on U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), as
well as to provide the subsidiaries with financial and operational
support, as required. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure accounting for
assigned subsidiaries is in accordance with US GAAP. This includes
a periodic review of reconciliations for all balance sheet
accounts, investigation of budget vs. actual variances, and
analysis of balance sheet and income statement fluctuations Act as
the corporate liaison for assigned subsidiaries, providing
assistance with operational and financial questions as needed
Ensure proper and timely recording of intercompany charges and
payments Prepare and/or review assigned subsidiary cash flow
statements Present accounting policy topics / updates to the
Finance management team and foreign controller group at the
biennial Controllers' Conference and during quarterly global
finance webcasts Assist with corporate accounting tasks and special
projects as needed Occasional travel may be required MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
field Minimum 5 years of financial accounting or audit experience,
or a minimum 3 years of public accounting experience, (2 years with
CPA passed Comprehensive and technical knowledge of US GAAP
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong
organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multi-task
and work well independently Advanced use of Excel and other
Microsoft Office products Strong commitment to quality and timely
service Must show ability to multi-task and work well independently
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance
preferred 2 years of Big 4 audit experience preferred CPA a plus
Public company experience and knowledge of SEC reporting
requirements Oracle ERP knowledge Experience with Oracle Business
Intelligence (OBIEE) Experience with international subsidiary
accounting a plus Experience in multi-level consolidations a plus
