We're currently building a new commercial organization and expanding our other functions to support this strategy.The Senior Manager, Data Governance is responsible for managing commercial data for existing and future brands at Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma America, Inc. (MTPA). The position sits within the Commercial Operations business unit on the Commercial Effectiveness/ Analytics & Insights team and works collaboratively with other areas, including Strategy & Operations and Information Technology.This position offers an extraordinary opportunity for individuals interested in leading a vital function within the Commercial organization, joining a fast-growing US company with immediate opportunities in the orphan drug and specialty markets, and working in therapeutic areas with high unmet needs.Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and manages the inflow/ outflow and organization of commercial data, including: patient-level data gathered at the patient hub, web sites, and via email; IQVIA and other third-party data; specialty pharmacy data; infusion therapy provider data; specialty distributor data; and data on promotional activity, including data entered in Veeva
  • Ongoing management of the Commercial Data Warehouse, including its Master Data Management (MDM) capabilities for physician and patient, the Patient Database, Customer 360 data collection and organization, and Field and Headquarters Reporting coming out of the Data Warehouse
  • Works with vendors on email and other digital activity reporting and works collaboratively to refine and improve with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and IT
  • Evaluates vendors and provides recommendations on data aggregation for future product launches, working in close collaboration with Market Access and Finance
  • With the Director of Commercial Analytics & Insights, helps lead a cross-functional team on commercial data management, consisting of representatives from information technology (IT), sales operations, marketing, legal/compliance, and commercial operations
  • Provides oversight of digital partners on various questions related to patient and physician opt-ins and digital tagging
  • Conducts analysis as neededQualifications:Education:
    • Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred Professional Experience:
      • 5 - 7 years of Pharma industry experience, with knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance requirements and pharmaceutical industry data
      • Experience in a Data Governance role, and experience with Master Data Management and data warehousing, preferredKnowledge & Skills:
        • Pharma industry Master Data Management and building/ running commercial data warehouses preferred
        • Skilled at leading and managing projects implementing data systems in the pharmaceutical industry while meeting timelines and budgets
        • Skilled at working with large databases and Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau and Qlik View
        • SQL querying knowledge is a plus
        • Leads by example; displays integrity, collaboration, accessibility, adaptability, sound judgment/decision making, responsiveness, attention to detail and strong follow-through
        • Entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented attitude
        • Ability to communicate with and operate between the business and technical sides of the organization
        • Good written/verbal communication and presentation skills
        • MS Office expertise a must, especially Excel and Access
        • Required to travel up to 10%, domestically and internationally
