Our New Jersey branch is looking for a new Benefits Coordinator to join their Human Resources team.Your RoleThe employee benefits coordinator position supports leave management processes and benefit payroll tasks. He/she responds to employee inquiries on plan details and enrollment, assists in billing reconciliation, works with vendors on employee database and files, assists with payroll reconciliations. The position may also be involved in ad-hoc and auditing projects as needed.Your Responsibilities

  • Leave Management support and reconciliations related to employee status, vendor claims management and employee/branch communications.
  • Review and support the "Payroll Compare" processing of retroactive benefits payments and provide to vendor/payroll in timely manner.
  • Audit data periodically for issues such as duplicate/incorrect SSNs, status change updates/corrections, enrollment and payroll matters, and others as assigned and backup support for processing vendor invoices using KN's ACON system, work closely with Benefit Admin and Finance/Banking teams to ensure accuracy and prompt payment.
  • Responsible for level 1 case management answering basic benefits inquiries, tracking open cases in Benefits Queue and Benefit Admin site andorks with vendors on court orders/QMSCO and Cobra notifications.
  • Will be expected and required to learn benefits/systems and processes and retain understanding and execution, works closely with Benefits Manager and vendors on communication as assigned including Cigna Subrogation letters, cobra notifications, etc and primary support partner for Leave Administration duties working closely with Senior Benefits Leave Administrator and team.
  • May be assigned responsibilities and tasks as Benefits Manager sees fit, organize, update and clean-up of processes/file management, etc and reviewing mail for Jersey City HR dept and passing it along to appropriate person.Your Skills and Experiences
    • HR experienced and/or Undergraduate degree strongly preferred.
    • Intermediate Excel skills required including usage of VLookup/Pivot Tables, formulas, etc.
    • Takes direction well; can-do attitude and no ego; comfortable with multitasking.
