Overview

The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Senior Specialist, Full-Stack Developer in New York, NY , to consult with internal business groups to provide appropriate application software development services or technical support. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation. Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Working within the Fund Accounting financial industry utilizing the InvestOne accounting platforms; Converting business requirements to system requirements through agile software development practices, using tools including JIRA, Confluence, MS Office and Visio; Applying architectural and design patterns using SOLID and Object-oriented Design and Principles for implementation of scalable, high performing and robust applications with a focus on security, stability and resiliency across multiple operating environments and data centers; Building and implementing applications with tech stack components including .NET Core, C#, webapi, MVC, REST, Angular, MS Sql Server, MQ, Ansible, Kafka, Java, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud and performing microservice and cloudbased implementations; Implementing Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration based on JIRA, GITlab CI/CD pipeline, Ansible, Docker, Nexus, Veracode security scan and Unix Shell scripting and implementing unit testing and refactoring using NUnit, MoQ, JMeter; and Working with multiple applications in a production environment including capacity planning, resource allocation, navigating audits, disaster recovery planning and production support. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. Salary range: $157,477.00 - $200,000.00 /year.
