Regional Controller | On-Site - Jersey City, NJ CFS is partnering with a well-established industry leader to identify a Regional Controller to oversee finance operations for its Northeast and Midwest regions. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CFO, offering full ownership of payroll, AP, financial reporting, and inventory across a multi-site operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced, no-nonsense environment and knows how to build trust across teams while staying focused on results. Key Responsibilities Lead payroll operations and tax filings, working closely with HR and finance Oversee accounts payable, inventory accounting, and cost tracking Manage monthly close, financial reporting, and general ledger accuracy Analyze operating results, margins, and variances across locations Direct the year-end audit process and ensure compliance Maintain internal controls and drive process improvements Supervise, mentor, and support a team of accounting professionals Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operations teams What We're Looking For 10 years of accounting experience, including prior Controller-level responsibility Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and influence across departments Background in payroll, inventory, and financial reporting for multi-site operations Experience with ERP systems; CPA is a plus Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus Must be comfortable with on-site work (5 days/week in Jersey City) and 15% travel Someone with thick skin, confidence, and the ability to thrive in a direct, high-accountability culture INJUN2025 LI-KR2
