Job Summary The Senior Regional Controller is a strategic, results?driven finance leader supporting the Divisional VP of Finance and partnering closely with Operations to drive profitability, strengthen cash flow, and enhance overall financial performance. Managing a diverse portfolio of up to 30 accounts, this hybrid role requires occasional travel to client sites across the Northeast. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted financial advisor and business partner to the VP of Finance. Lead the annual budgeting process and present key insights to divisional leadership. Oversee forecasting and partner with Operations to develop action plans that address performance gaps. Evaluate new business and rebid proformas, ensuring financial targets are achievable through benchmarking and sensitivity analysis. Support client negotiations, including contractual discussions and AR resolutions. Direct the monthly close process and collaborate with field accounting to streamline procedures. Analyze weekly and monthly results, guiding Operations toward corrective actions and financial improvement. Elevate financial acumen across operations teams to drive sustained profitability. Strengthen cash flow through effective AR management, optimized capital deployment, and disciplined inventory oversight. Maintain rigorous financial controls and collaborate with Internal Audit to implement recommendations promptly. Coach and develop financial support staff. Ensure timely and accurate asset setup by coordinating invoice submission with accounting teams. Deliver client ad?hoc reporting and proactively address issues surfaced in Compass reporting. Participate in divisional and regional meetings as required. Education Bachelor’s degree required. Work Experience Minimum of five years in a senior finance role within food service, hospitality, or retail industries. Experience managing financial performance of approximately $100M in managed volume. Technical & Soft Skills Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. SAP experience preferred.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate financial performance. Strong client-facing presence and ability to influence stakeholders.
