**Overview**Within the Compliance Department, the Front Office Support (FOS) Analyst will be tasked with supporting the Front Office to monitor and facilitate the customer onboarding and KYC renewal processes. The Analysts will serve as a coordinator and central point of contact between various internal and external stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of a customer journey.Reporting to a Front Office Support Team Lead, the Analyst will play an integral part in the rollout of the firms Front Office Support operating model. The Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and tracking case progress, updating system statuses, reviewing due diligence records for quality, and ensuring internal production SLA's are adhered to. The FOS Analyst is expected to have a strong knowledge of industry regulations and customer service experience.**Responsibilities**+ Responsible for ensuring all requirements related to customer due diligence are requested and returned accurately within a prescribed timeline. This includes tracking of each case to ensure production levels are in line with with expectations and obstacles are identified and escalated accordingly. The analyst will look for operating efficiencies and maintains customer data integrity in accordance with internal policies and procedures of SMBC Head Office and compliance with AML/BSA/OFAC regulations.+ Inputs and reviews workflow system data as a mechanism to track and ensure timely progression of open items. Leverages the workflow data to identify cases off track and works with all stakeholders to achieve resolution.+ Facilitates the SMBC KYC Periodic Review and Onboarding lifecycle from front to back.The FOS Analyst:+ acts a liaison between Front Office, KYC, Planning, and Operations stakeholders+ ensures all industry mandated regulatory requirements and internal policies are met+ meets regularly with Front Office Relationship Managers to assist with all efforts related to customer due diligence+ adheres to SLA committments; collects and reviews all relevant renewal and onboarding documentation for adequacy and accuracy+ Troubleshoots routine and some complex issues between the Front Office, supporting functional teams, and internal systems and workflows. Ensures customer outreach requests are in line with regulatory and internal requirements, reducing redundancy and adhering to risk mitigation efforts.+ Performs daily queue management and quality control reviews for their casework+ Ensures business continuity under all conditions, with strict adherence to established guidelines and deadlines.**Qualifications**+ 3 to 5 years of specialized experience in Financial Services, Middle office and Customer Service operations.+ Preferred: BA / BS (or equivalent experience)+ CAMS preferred+ Strong technical knowledge of AML, Bank Secrecy Act, Foreign Assets Control.Acute awareness of KYC and Onboarding processes and regulations.+ Strong understanding of banking policies, statutory and compliance regulations.In depth knowledge of market practices related to compliance operations and product onboarding requirements+ Customer relations experience and strong interpersonal skills required+ Good judgement, sense of urgency and accountability; time- management skills.+ Ability to execute in a high pressure environment.+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.**Job Locations** _US-NJ-Jersey City_**Posting Date** _4 weeks ago_ _(7/8/2022 2:46 PM)_**_Career Category_** _Compliance and Legal_**_iCIMS ID_** _2022-11620_**_Corporate Title_** _Analyst_**_Type_** _Fulltime-Regular (Exempt/Non-Exempt)__SMBC is an EO employer - M/F/Veteran/Disability_
