Job Description:

Our client is a well known media company. They are looking for a contract Branded Content Editor for their Branded Content Studio.





This person should be
a nimble, forward-thinking, storyteller who is as comfortable crafting tweets as they are editing long-form journalism and data visualizations. In this role, you'll help with day-to-day needs of many campaigns in various stages of production, while owning a slate of projects from kickoff to launch. This is a temporary, six-month role with the potential to become permanent, starting immediately.



Responsibilities

--- Write, edit, and produce content for a variety of advertisers

--- Write sold article concepts (long-form, advertiser spotlights, Q&As, and more) across platforms

--- Top edit infographics, research projects and related deliverables

--- Copyedit, proof, and QA content as needed

--- Manage freelance writers and other vendors as needed

--- Help refine angles for written content pitches

--- Create social copy, video descriptions, and other copy as needed

--- Work with designers, content producers, and other team members to ensure quality of published work



Requirements

--- 4-6 years experience writing and editing branded content in a publisher content studio or agency

--- Familiarity with telling stories in a variety of mediums, including: digital, social, print, video, audio

--- Strong research chops and a strong sense of resourcefulness

--- Ability to research, write, and edit quickly, accurately, and with energy

--- Ability to independently hit multiple deadlines across a variety of projects

--- Familiarity with the media, publishing, and advertising landscape

--- Impeccable communication skills (written and verbal)

--- Direct experience collaborating with clients, agencies, and other stakeholders

--- Strong CMS and social platform experience

--- Familiarity with data-driven storytelling

--- B2B experience

--- Strategy experience a plus
