Job Description:
Project Manager – Heavy Civil & Marine Construction A nationally
recognized general contractor with more than a century of success
in heavy civil and marine construction is seeking a talented
Project Manager to join their team. This firm specializes in
complex infrastructure projects such as bridges, dredging,
environmental restoration, wetlands remediation, dams, piers, and
docks. If you're a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic
environments and wants to make an impact with a respected

travel. Key Responsibilities: Lead all phases of project
delivery—budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and execution
Review contract documents and ensure compliance with specifications
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules Manage
subcontractors and suppliers; prepare scopes of work and cost
breakdowns Track and process change orders; coordinate RFQs and
evaluate pricing for fairness Maintain strong communication with
clients, stakeholders, and internal teams Supervise project
engineers and support staff; provide mentorship and performance
guidance Collaborate with field teams to address claims, manage
risks, and resolve jobsite issues Oversee procurement, equipment
logistics, and timely material delivery What You Bring: Bachelor’s
degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction
Management, or related field 5 years of experience managing heavy
civil or marine construction projects Deep understanding of project
management tools and processes (cost control, scheduling,
procurement, estimating) Strong working knowledge of construction
principles, contracts, and best practices Excellent communication,
leadership, and organizational skills Willingness to travel to job
