Job Summary We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join a Long Island Based General Contracting firm. The successful full-time candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and work within a team environment. The Superintendent must have experience working on interior and exterior renovation projects and be familiar with the NYC Building Codes. This position reports directly to the Owner of the company. Job Duties and Responsibilities Manage the daily construction operations and work with the Owner and Owner's Representatives. Coordinate the various subcontractors on the project. Oversee subcontractor's work to avoid any potential conflicts in the execution of their work. Review plans and specifications to identify issues and conflicts. Maintain project requirements and timelines. Respect the schedule, quality and cost control to meet project deadlines. Communicate, monitor and supervise all material deliveries to the job site. Act as principal point of contact for multiple construction projects located in the 5 boroughs. Required Qualifications 3 years of building and renovation experience in a superintendent role managing commercial/residential projects. OSHA 40-hour SST Certificate. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Project and Excel. Ability to read architectural drawings/plans. Possess a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Must be willing to submit and clear a full background check. *This role requires you to work on various construction sites all throughout the 5 boroughs Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 Company Overview IslandSearch Group, Inc.
