As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you'll help build a meaningful engineering discipline, combining software and systems to develop creative engineering solutions to operations problems. As an SRE, you---ll be focused on running better production applications and systems.Responsibilities:Design, code, test, and deliver software to automate manual operational workTroubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of incidentsEngage with development team throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale, ensuring minimal refactoring or changesIdentify application patterns and analytics in support of better service level objectivesDesign self-healing and resiliency patternsDesign automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutionsCoach or manage teams as applicableParticipate in the 24x7 support coverage as neededResponsible for design, engineering and day to day operational support of Cisco VPN and Citrix Netscaler Remote Access Infrastructure.Design, code, test, and deliver software and processes to automate manual operational work.Participate in incident management, problem management and project execution activities.Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions.Build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patternsWork with cross functional teams to design, engineer, document, test and deploy new Remote Access technologies.Participate in on-call coverage.Qualifications:Bachelor---s degree or equivalent experience in an software engineering disciplineExpertise in at least one technology stack designing, coding, testing, and delivering softwareProficiency in one or more technology domains, may be a cross-domain expert able to solve complex and mission critical problems within a business or across the firmWorking knowledge of infrastructure components (e.g. routers, load balancers, cloud products, container systems, compute, storage, and networks)Excellent debugging and trouble shooting skillsStrong experience engineering and supporting large scale Remote Access environments utilizing Cisco ASA, ISE and Citrix NetScaler ADC, ADMMastery in at least two or more software languages with respect to designing, coding, testing, and software delivery. (Python and Ansible experience preferred)Prior experience developing and delivering solutions to automate operational tasks.Full time
