As Senior Infrastructure Engineer You Will
- Design, build, and support enterprise systems and platforms
encompassing a broad array of technologies.
- Build secure, scalable, and highly available solutions that
adhere to enterprise policies and industry standards & best
- Provide design guidance and support to business partners to
enable optimal usage of the technology.
- Proactively measure all environments for adherence to
enterprise standards and best practices and assist with remediation
- Develop and maintain scripts, automated processes, and
documentation for repeatable design patterns, to increase system
efficiency and lower the human intervention time.
- Provide escalation support to operations personnel.
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for technical
design, implementation, and problem resolution.
- Train and mentor team members as well as operational staff.
- 3+ years of experience designing, managing, and supporting
enterprise Virtualization Platforms(VMware, KVM, Openstack), and
server computing platforms.
- 2+ years of experience working with Containers, Kubernetes a
- 2+ years of experience working with public cloud products and
services; AWS preferred.
- Experience creating technical documentation and using tools
including Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- 2+ years working with CI/CD tools and methodologies, system
programming and scripting in Python and Bash preferred; a
scripting/automation mindset is a must.
- Experience with Configuration Management tools, including
Ansible (preferred), Puppet, chef, salt, etc. a plus.
- Integration experience with enterprise operations and security
tools such as Okta, Splunk, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Infoblox, and
- Strong communication skills, written & verbal, and a
collaborative, team-oriented approach to work are a must, as is a
comfort level working in a fast-paced, federated environment that
embraces innovation and experimentation.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related
subject field or equivalent work experience.
- Dependable and flexible with work hours, including nights and
weekends as required.
- May require up to 10% domestic travel.
