Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with R&D and process engineers to achieve the highest operational efficiency
• Work with the engineers to implement and integrate new and improved process flow
• Optimize current processes to improve manufacturability, yield, and performance
• Coordinate with R&D and Process engineering team to resolve yield and quality issues
• Monitor process stability by reviewing yield and performance
• Be responsible to drive cross-function projects and improve Cpk/PpK for product quality and reliability
• Define methods for automatic detection and notification of issues to mitigate time-based risk
• Routinely monitor SPC charts for trends and excursions
• Identify and address potential areas to improve and optimize tool availability, cycle time reduction, utilization, and cost
• Be an expert in analytics tools and data analysis Education & Experience
  
  MS/PhD in Materials Science/Physics/Electrical Engineering/Chemical Engineering with Semiconductor knowledge. 5- 7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
  
  Skills
  • Knowledge of technical processes used in the fabrication of single crystal substrates such as crystal growth, slicing, and polishing
  • Analysis skills, including data mining, yield analysis, DOE and SPC
  • Must have excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills
  • Six sigma certification is desirable
  • Expert in statistical analysis tools
