Description • Coordinate Engineering designs and requirements with other Engineering disciplines. • Deep involvement in the design and analysis of electronic circuits & components. • Hands-on involvement in circuit board bring-up troubleshooting and testing of the electronic designs. • Provide hardware design support from the Concept phase through Production. • Apply Engineering skill and creativity to the product line Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education. • 2 years electronic design experience in analog & digital circuit design. • Familiarity with PCAD, Allegro tools, FPGA development, & VHDL desired. • Familiarity with IPC design standards is a plus • Deep competencies within analysis and circuit board troubleshooting · Familiarity in component selection and sourcing is highly desired • Interpersonal skills: Collaborative, Critical Thinking, Technical Competency PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Must be able to see and manipulate small parts. • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend or stretch in keeping with the demands of a typical office role. • Must be able to lift and carry components up to 30 lbs. • Must be able to participate in aircraft survey and flight test activities. • Must be able to operate computer equipment for both design and programming. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: • Learn Company products within six (6) months. • Learn Company procedures and processes within three (3) months. • Gain understanding regarding certification standards mandated by regulatory agencies within aviation. https://gpsnational.com/
