involves: This position supports critical facility operations
through the installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of
mechanical, electrical, and power generation equipment and systems.
You'll operate systems safely and efficiently in accordance with
government regulatory compliance and standard operating procedures
while ensuring optimal performance of building equipment. This role
requires union membership with International Union of Operating
Engineers Local 877 AFL-CIO and works 2nd shift (3PM – 11PM),
Tuesday through Saturday. Your day-to-day tasks will include: •
Operating and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and power
generation equipment to support the critical environment in a safe
and efficient manner • Performing predictive, planned,
preventative, and routine maintenance including equipment rounds
and service requests as directed by the JLL Preventative
Maintenance Program • Inspecting and repairing pumps, fans, valves,
and motors to ensure proper operation of client equipment and
systems • Monitoring and maintaining refrigeration, water cooling
and air conditioning equipment, boilers, heating, ventilating and
hot water equipment, pumps, valves, piping, and filters •
Completing all tenant service requests accurately and expediently
while maintaining time and production records • Evaluating building
systems to monitor and improve performance for efficient operation
• Assisting with the development and improvement of preventative
maintenance programs, schedules, work instructions, SOPs, and
operational procedures • Participating in emergency response
procedures, technical and safety training programs, and
periodically acting as the on-call engineer as requested •
Complying with all safety policies and procedures, including proper
storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials while
maintaining a clean and safe workplace Desired experience and
technical skills: Requirements: • Membership or willingness to
become a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local
877 AFL-CIO • Ability to quickly learn building control,
electrical, and UPS systems utilizing on-the-job training,
operations manuals, and documentation • Ability to interpret
specifications, blueprints, and job standards to perform assigned
duties • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in mechanical,
plumbing, structural, fire, life safety, and control systems •
Availability to work 2nd shift (3PM – 11PM), Tuesday through
Saturday • Flexibility to work with a wide-ranging and changing
scope of responsibilities while adhering to procedures that
minimize risk for human error Preferred: • Experience with HVAC,
electrical, and power generation systems in critical environments •
Previous experience with preventative maintenance programs and
tenant services • Knowledge of government regulatory compliance
standards for facility operations • Strong problem-solving skills
with ability to recommend measures to improve production methods
and equipment performance This position does not provide visa

States without sponsorship. Estimated compensation for this
position: 80,000.00 – 100,000.00 USD per year This range is an
estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation
packages are determined by various considerations including but not
limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions,
and internal considerations. Location: On-site –North Brunswick, NJ
