This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, and Experienced Level Software Engineers. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Position Responsibilities: Collaborate with teams to understand software requirements and design objectives Propose, design, and implement software solutions Develop, document, and maintain software architectures, requirements, designs, code, and automated tests Participate in code reviews and design discussions, contributing to continuous improvement Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): 2 or more years of professional experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada 1 or more years of experience with Agile software development lifecycle Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science Ability to Obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance – Final Post-Start Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines Ability to research and solve fundamental problems Experience leading complex software projects Skills in developing, documenting, and maintaining software architectures, code, designs, and automated tests Ability to break down functional requirements into well-defined tasks Willingness to learn new skills through on-the-job training and experience CodeVue Coding Challenge: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process.
