Job Description:

Position Summary:Manage all financial services for our growing base of physician networks in our central corporate office in Jersey City, NJ.--Conduct full revenue cycle management for our client organizations focused on financial activity from the hospital and independent physician networks.Conduct all month-end closing activities including bank reconciliation, bad debt reconciliation, month-end reporting, and related activity.Effectively communicate with practice leadership all financial issues and conduct weekly and monthly meetings.--Manage and motivate a team of financial specialists by conducting ongoing training, performance improvement on all task areas including:Resolution of unresolved payment issues including:Posting payments, adjustments, and denials or perform necessary corrective actions.Remittance and deposit troubleshooting.Time of service payment resolution and tracking.Commercial and Self Pay Refunds processing for all payers.Incorrect or unapplied payment resolution research.Collection accounts review and resolutionFinancial reconciliation and tracking issues.Understanding of payment lifecycle from initial Tax ID set up to deposit tracking and posting corrections.Conducts research on insurance websites and retrieves necessary documentation to post payment and denial information.Manage payment tracking in Athena including the US. Bank Lock Box and payment routing.Conducts credit balance review on patient accounts and makes a determination of refund through standardized policies.Conducts processing of refunds for both commercial and patient accounts after careful review of the account.Electronic Remittances Troubleshooting:--Troubleshoots issues on electronic remittances from set-up through implementation for new and existing clients. Works with credentialing on ensuring the correct setup.Credit Balances:--Review of credit balances on accounts for possible correction and refund.--Develop reporting to Caduceus leadership on all aspects of the financial performance of practices.Knowledge, Skill and Experience requirements for this job:A minimum of 7+ years in medical billing with AR and Financial focus.Proven track record in managing and motivating an experienced team.Professional certification or formal training in Medical Terminology, ICD-10, and CPT.Strong background in multi-specialty professional billing environment conducting AR Follow-up and Payment Posting.Multi-system experience: EPIC, IDX, Athena, Etc.Compensation:Salary range of $75K- $95K depending on experience.--Benefits:--Medical and Dental.401K:--With employer match.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
