Job Description We are hiring a Product Manager, Cyber Insurance Underwriting, to be the product owner for the Cyber Underwriting Report, an integral part of the Verisk Cyber Solutions suite of products. The Verisk Cyber Underwriting report uses proprietary technology and Verisk's deep data assets to deliver real-time insurance and cybersecurity analytics and scoring on any company. The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in the conception, definition, prioritization, and delivery of reliable and effective capabilities that support our strategic imperatives and address customer needs. We are looking for a candidate that has deep expertise in at least one of the following areas, but preferably two or more: product management, cybersecurity, cyber insurance product development, underwriting, or broking.
  Responsibilities:
  --- Become the subject matter expert for cyber insurance underwriting
  --- Define product strategy and roadmap
  --- Conduct or coordinate technical, competitive and customer/stakeholder research to identify new product innovations, document needs, and contribute this understanding to develop the content & product roadmaps
  --- Lead cross-functional teams and/or efforts to create new or enhance existing cyber underwriting capabilities that solve customer problems or address customer needs
  --- Drive product development across the software development lifecycle, including creating user stories and acceptance criteria
  --- Assume revenue responsibility and accountability driving sales
  --- Manage pricing, contracting, and budget forecasting
  --- Serve as the product SME on client engagements including demonstrating product capabilities, writing proposals, and onboarding new clients
  --- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on developing training materials, marketing, and customer facing presentations
  --- Provide industry thought leadership through drafting white papers and articles, webinars, presentations at conferences, and customer interactions
  -- Qualifications --- Bachelor's degree. Advanced degree and/or insurance designations (e.g. CPCU, SCLA) is a plus
  --- Cybersecurity background demonstrated with certifications such as CISSP is a plus
  --- 5 to 10 years commercial insurance product, and/or underwriting experience
  --- Minimum 3 years of experience with Cyber insurance products
  --- Experience with alternative datasets for cyber risk evaluation
  --- Experience with developing cyber coverage products for large and small businesses
  --- Experience in underwriting or closely working with underwriters on a day to day basis
  --- Understanding of the basics of technology and the convergence of cybersecurity, software, data, and consulting
  --- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with internal staff and external stakeholders
  --- Comfortable speaking in front of a room full of industry executives but can also dive into the details of a challenging quantitative problem to solve customer needs
  --- Strong critical thinking, analytical problem-solving and negotiating skills; business creativity is a must
  --- Quantitative background with a focus on high quality data and analytics is a plus
  --- Product management experience is a plus
  --- Up to 25% travel or as per business requirements
