BLT is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team!
This position assists the General Manager with maintaining all
aspects of property operations.
Overall Responsibility: The Assistant General Manager monitors and
enforces compliance with all pertinent company policies,
procedures, and standards related to business and operations

Adheres to all federal, state, and local laws as they pertain to
fair housing, credit reporting, leasing and residential
Maintains day-to-day operations of the property while emphasizing a
professional and friendly atmosphere for all residents and
Physically inspects community when on grounds, picks up litter and
reports any service needs to maintenance staff.
Acts as liaison between Community Director, building staff and
Proactive resident feedback gathering. Working to meet and exceed
goals relative to resident satisfaction, resident retention,
occupancy levels, and property objectives
Assists with administering lease agreements for prospective
Maintains optimal renewal rates administering lease agreements for
Demonstrates knowledge of market conditions and industry trends.
Contributes ideas for marketing the community and enhancing the
living environment of residents.
Maintain accurate resident records including rents, deposits and
application fees received by residents
Accountable for resident consultation with aim to limit account
delinquencies resulting in provocation of eviction notices by
Issue appropriate notices when necessary (i.e. late payment,
eviction notices, returned checks, memos) and miscellaneous
resident communication as needed
Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by the General
Bachelors degree from four-year College or University; or
equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
2-3 years of leasing, sales or property management experience,
Must be organized, flexible and able to cope with change
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with OneSite Products preferred
Must have valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
Applicant must be able to meet physical requirements to perform
standing and walking activities related to inspecting and
presenting property (70% of time)
