The Risk Management and Continuous Improvement Director provides instrumental guidance in creating and maintaining value for organization through better design, introduction, and operation of services. It combines principles, practices, and methods from Quality Management, Change Management, Compliance and Capability improvement. Organizations learn to realize incremental and large-scale improvements in service quality, operational efficiency, audit and compliance adherence and business continuity. Guidance is provided by linking improvement efforts and outcomes with Strategy, Design, Operations and Transition. Works with process leads, technical, compliance and audit teams. This role guides the Production Security team to achieve desired security maturity levels with CIS Critical Security Controls, FFIEC and internal frameworks through the identification, performance management, and appropriate balance of risk, regulation, compliance, and business acknowledgement of these risks. Looks for opportunities to improve the performance and compliance of security services to deliver enhanced security to the business. Responsible for coordination of audit recommendations, reporting, KPIs/KRIs and vendor management.               • Coordinate relevant risk activities (e.g., Audit, Regulatory, risk assessment, control testing, monitoring, vulnerability management, risk reporting) and remediation of identified gaps and issues
              • Build a strong working relationship with TPMO, Audit (FLOD, SLOD and IG), Regulators, and Compliance to define monitoring requirements, and identify and prioritize improvement opportunities
              • Help with direction for the respective IT teams and collection/format of Audit artifacts to support successful completion of any Audit Findings that are assessed
              • Lead Audit meetings with the respective Audit teams in an effort to ensure the right team members are in attendance and consistent management of approach
              • Provide input on internal processes to assist with improvement initiatives and necessary Compliance and Audit requirements
              • Communicate the vision of Continuous Improvement across the organization
              • Identify frameworks, models and standards to support Continuous Improvement activities
              • Create reports and analyze performance trends to identify potential improvement areas and/or performance deficiencies
              • Monitor practices and processes to guide the implementation of compliance and improvement strategies improvement
              • Present improvement recommendations to senior management
              • Ensure risks and issues related to Production Security are recorded, tracked, assessed and escalated as necessary
              • Identify risks to successful achievement of goals, and take appropriate steps to mitigate those risks
              • Create and report on performance metrics for Production Security to identify areas requiring improvement
              • Provide analytical insight into return on investment, cost optimization, cost reduction or other value creation initiatives to enable prioritization of effort
              • Manage the balance between driving business value of continual improvement and diminishing returns
              • Understand the scope and relevant attributes of all current Service Levels and KPIs, and have demonstrated knowledge of defining new metrics
              • Develop, maintain, and enhance IT reporting and analytics functions on a scheduled basis and support ad-hoc report requests
              • Conduct vendor negotiations and develop contract proposals
              • Interact with Senior Executive Level Management Minimum Required Qualifications
                • 7 years of experience in a security related field
                • 3 years of leadership or management experience in a technical security role
                • Working knowledge of standard methodologies and frameworks such as NIST or FFIEC and Bank Regulations
                • Natural leader, willing to bring transformational growth, bold thinking and execution to a newly formed combined organization
                • Ability to coordinate, build relationships, and represent Production Security with control partners
                • Ability to provide analytical insight into return on investment, cost optimization, cost reduction or other value creation initiatives to enable prioritization of effort
                • Process improvement experience and ability to identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and recommend new approaches
                • Must understand vendor management/procurement, CAPEX/OPEX model and general accounting rules and principles such as depreciations, pre-paid maintenance, etc.
                • Solid problem solving and analytical skills; must be resourceful, creative, innovative, results driven and adaptable
                • Extensive experience with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Project and others, is required.
                • Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications:
                  • Industry certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISM or CRISC
                  • Knowledge of Agile and other Project Management methodologies
