BNP -Paribas The Bank for a Changing World. Global Banking IT (GB IT) Americas, is part of the overall CIB IT/ITO organization. GB IT is responsible for all technology matters of USD Clearing & Payments, Trade & Treasury Solutions and Global Banking Americas business lines. The Head of Projects within GB IT is in-charge of managing strategic projects, Change-the-Bank and Run-The-Bank initiatives for the USD Clearing & payments and Global Banking businesslines. He/She collaborates with heads of business lines to develop roadmaps, delivery pipelines, establish business priorities and hold regular bi-weekly portfolio review meetings. Head of Projects also ensures GB IT projects comply to SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) controls, quality standards and guidelines. On regular basis, he/she will contribute to definition of GB IT budget, strategy and coordinate IT audit missions.               • Stakeholder management and collaboration: Develop strong partnership through engagement and collaboration with business stakeholders across Global Banking business lines, including USD Clearing & Payments, Trade & Treasury Solutions, Credit & Loan operations and Finance & Risk banking clusters.
              • Project/Program Management: Lead, mentor and provide guidance to the Global Banking IT Project Management team to ensure transparency, governance and predictability of deliverables through regular review of stakeholder priorities, project risks, resource alignment, and training of resources on project management methodologies.
              • Budget Management: Proficient in IT budget planning and presentation. Proactively work with CIB IT CIO office and finance leadership teams to track and manage the GB IT portfolio financials, project health, and schedule.
              • Hire Coach Talent: Hire, coach and develop the Global Banking IT Project Management team to excel in project governance, methodologies and management. Coordinate IT Audit missions: Engage, participate and coordinate both internal and external IT Audit missions. Track & follow-up Audit requests and deliverables. Minimum Required Qualifications
                • About 8 years of experience in project/portfolio management and stake holder engagement
                • Excellent stake holder management and negotiation skills
                • Strong competencies in Project Management/Agile methodologies
                • Excellent analytical and problem-solving , verbal / presentation and written communication skills
                • Good organizational and planning skills
                • Extensive project management experience with the ability to:
                  • Develop project planning
                  • Allocate resources
                  • Assess project risks
                  • Manage multiple projects in parallel
                  • Strong experience in leading multi-culture, geographically distant teams.
                  • Ability to lead multi-culture, multi-location team of 6 to 10 staff
                  • Project management/Agile certification(s) is a plus
                  • Strong experience in usage of Project Management tools such as MS Project, Clarity, JIRA, etc.
                  • Undergraduate education with degree in Arts, Sciences or Engineering. MBA from a reputed institution is a plus. Preferred Qualifications:
                    • Experience with banking applications (e.g. loan / credit management, trade finance, and cash management / payment applications)
                    • Consulting experience with leading consulting firms
                    • Experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
