Role: Vice President RX Sales Strategy

Location: East Coast, US

We are looking for a dedicated and analytical VP of RX Sales Strategy to join our clients organization. The responsibilities of the VP of Sales include overseeing the daily sales activities, meeting with major clients, writing sales reports, designing effective sales strategies, and marketing company products and services.

To be successful as a VP of Sales, you should have good leadership skills and the ability to drive company success. Ultimately, a top-notch VP of Sales should have an in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and competitive products and have excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities Include

  • Strategically build new business relationships with RX clients in order to close profitable business sales across the companys at-home, in-store and digital solutions.
  • Develop a pipeline of new business prospects and lead strategies to convert these prospects to customers.
  • Develop strong relationships with senior-level decision makers to understand their business objective and how our clients capabilities can help potential customers to achieve their goals.
  • Create client-centric campaign options utilizing the client capabilities and resources to address client needs.
  • Maintain a weekly cadence of forecasting and reporting of lead development to management.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and statistically manage targets and territory.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to customers by balancing the companys priorities and customers needs to include selling display ideas, new products, shelf, reset and promotions.
  • Engage with internal resources (Marketing, Digital Strategy, Consumer Insights, Operations, Finance, and Management) to both uncover business driving opportunities and elevate client proposals.
  • Identify where improvements can be made and develop sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.
  • Monitor the market and competitor products and activities and provide detailed sales forecasting.
  • Review customer activity, anticipating consumer needs, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Create sales reports and provide feedback to the leadership team at company meetings.
  • Establish and maintain key customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with core selling team to provide leads, strategic vision, and support
    • Proven track record of delivering against sales targets selling to RX companies or from within RX selling to retailers. Must have 2+ years of related experience in the RX industry.
    • Has consistently achieved or exceeded profitable sales targets selling business to business.
    • Experienced in selling digital media.
    • Passionate and driven by new business development and account growth potential.
    • Ability to confidently communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders. Success in building strong relationships with senior level decision makers.
    • Demonstrated ability to leverage data to develop tailored solutions for clients. Familiarity with syndicated data e.g., IRI and Nielsen.
    • Strong presentations, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
    • Proficiency in Google Cloud products, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Salesforce.
