Position SummaryAre you a marketing whiz ready to supercharge your career with a growing portfolio of premium spirits brands? Excellent. Because were looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to help us amplify the explosive success of our Proper No. Twelve Whiskey - the fastest growing Irish Whiskey in America - and relaunch our iconic Three Olives Vodka in a big way. These unique brands are top priorities for Proximo Spirits and we need a dedicated Assistant Brand Manager to help our team implement rigorous standards and processes as we march toward ambitious growth targets. The Assistant Brand Manager at Proximo is unique in that you will be able to get your hands involved in all aspects of brand growth; from performance analysis, to innovation development, to communications and positioning work and execution of brand plans. This exciting role requires a dynamic marketing professional who has their finger on the pulse of culture and has a strong creative eye balanced with strong analytical skills.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage tracking and analytics of business performance against a brand score card (Nielsen/NABCA retail tracker, brand health tracker, brand budget, contracts, and P&L management).
  • Assist with the planning of and implementing of highly focused marketing plans that drive brand value from brand distinction to relevance to presence.
  • Assist with the execution of breakthrough consumer (ATL) and retail (BTL) programs and be able to drive them through the line, linking key features and benefits for trade environment.
  • Assist with developing insights and implementing new communications, including launching major integrated campaigns from advertising, media, and PR to social and trade. This includes strong collaboration with partner agencies and internal cross-functional and field sales teams.
  • Assist with the development of a 3-5 year innovations pipeline plan. Including project management of all new packaging, liquids, and support tools around launch. This includes strong internal collaboration with various teams.
  • Assist with execution of selling tools, experiential events logistics, and local sales programs.
  • Bring a digital innovation mentality. Candidates should have a deep understanding of overarching media platforms and how to leverage against the brand's strategic goals.

      • Internal: Public Relations, Trade Marketing/POS, Commercial team, Field sales
      • Operations and Proximo Affiliates: Canada /EMEA/APAC/Mexico
      • External: Agency partners: Advertising/Media/Digital/Social/Shopper/Events
        Knowledge and Experience
        • BA/BS degree in marketing or related field required, (MBA a plus)
        • Three plus years of brand marketing experience, preferably related to the Spirits Industry or CPG/FMCG.
        • Strong business acumen including project management skills, data analysis, and budget management
        • Proficient in Nielsen, IRI, VIP, NABCA, and/or other retail analytics platforms
        • Exhibits a deep personal accountability for performance.
        • Highly collaborative with ability to manage projects independently from start to finish and meet deadlines.
        • Comfortable interacting with all levels of management, including senior leadership.
        • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced and dynamic environment.
        • Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and analytical skills.
        • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
        • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel data analysis.
