Job Description:
The Vice President, Partnerships is a key business leader that
will be responsible for driving revenue through new business
development and retention of current partners. This role will be
integral in the development of the organization's partnership
portfolio. The VP will identify emerging sponsorship categories,
prospect and generate sales leads, build relationships, conduct
client presentations, and negotiate agreements to meet and exceed
annual revenue goals. - Primary responsibilities will include the
creation, implementation, strategic management, and profitability
of partnership agreements for the Club. The role is responsible for
leading key initiatives including driving revenue, client
satisfaction, cultivating meaningful relationships with partners
and providing professional development of the team.
- All duties are performed in accordance with departmental and
Gotham FC policies, practices, and procedures as well as within the
framework and intent of the Mission Statement.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: - Revenue Generation -
- Responsible for leading and managing new business development
including prospecting, relationship development, client needs
analysis, inventory pricing and management, pitching, negotiating,
closing, and contract execution -
- Develop and manage the strategic planning for partners, support
the in-season agreement execution, and oversee the annual renewal
cycle -
- Manage key category development and platform ideation for new
and existing partners; lead design of high level vision decks and
deliver through interactive pitch meetings -
- Lead the retention and generation of incremental revenue with
existing partners through annual renewal process -
- Provide weekly reporting and communication of sales related
metrics including pipeline generation, account status, revenue
status, and relevant partner interaction -
- Oversee departmental maintenance of all client records in CRM
system, including up-to-date contact information, deal sheets,
billing, and other activities necessary for accurate record-keeping
Leadership -
- Lead a team that serves as primary contact for Gotham FC
partners, responsible for delivering contractual assets and driving
business solutions based on partners' objectives -
- Coach, mentor, and develop the partnerships team, while
promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
that values innovation and a commitment to excellence -
- Ensure appropriate organization structure and staffing levels
while building bench strength. Take active role in development to
ensure succession planning goals are achieved -
- Oversee the department activation budget Cross Functional
Collaboration -
- Foster an environment of collaboration between the Gotham FC
internal teams working to deliver marketing assets as well as Red
Bull Arena
- Partner with Brand and Community marketing teams to leverage
existing programming by creating and implementing innovative
platforms and assets that will provide incremental revenue
opportunities for the organization overall - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND

- Proven partnership leader with a demonstrated track record of
performance and business achievements -
- Exceptional track record of developing and implementing
partnership strategies that have consistently met or exceeded
planned objectives -
- Ability to think critically; research, recommend and implement
solutions effectively -
- Outstanding organizational skills, ability to follow through,
and capable of meeting deadlines while balancing multiple projects
and priorities -
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

- Possess and demonstrates an extremely strong proficiency in
communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable and
experienced with public speaking and group presentations -
- Excellent judgment and ability to develop, leverage and
maintain relationships -
- Organized with consistent attention to detail -
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends,
and holidays and the capability to travel as required -
