worldwide.Join Takeda as an Associate Director/Senior Manager,
Portfolio Performance Manager where you will lead multiple, complex
initiatives and workstreams in alignment with the PMO/R&D
strategy and roadmap. You will also ensure portfolio level project
management effectiveness through institution of: common process,
system utilization, accurate data aggregation, and valuable
reporting and dashboards. As part of the Center of Operational
Performance (CoOP) team, you will report to the Head and partner
with internal customers (i.e. Leadership, Global program managers,
functional project managers, stakeholders etc) to strengthen and
support strategic portfolio and operational project management
practices.How you will contribute:
- Serve as primary customer interface for assigned
TAUs/Functions, driving accuracy and consistency of Portfolio
Project Management (PPM) milestones and attributes; engage assigned
TAU/Function on specific Project Management topics related to
tools, systems and process
- Innovate, identify opportunities and lead continuous
improvement efforts for systems and processes; drafts relevant
guidance documents and in partnership with the Systems, Reporting &
Analytics Leaders
- Partner with Portfolio Review Committee (PRC) Office to ensure
effective baselining of Global Program Team plans following PRC
endorsement for assigned TAUs
- Manage CoOP Sharepoint inclusive of CoOP brand, communication
strategy and roadmap
- Independently resolve complex issues and competing priorities
and creates mitigation plan in order to drive to resolution.
- Challenges team to consider alternative perspectives to ensure
robust strategy
- Serve as customer interface at portfolio level driving accuracy
and consistency to data
- Develop and lead training sessions on specific PM topics
related to tools, systems and process
- Train and support the complex project timelines and other
project level information updates with Project Manager and project
team members
- Facilitate and drive work sessions; leveraging flexible toolkit
of techniques, with the ability to adapt approach to the needs of
the project/audience
- Support the design and implementation of new systems and
processesWhat you bring to Takeda:
- Minimum 6 years industry experience with minimum 3 years in a
drug development PM role
- Minimum 4 years people management experience and/or proven
leadership experience in managing a matrix team.
- Advanced PM skills and understanding of drug development
- PMP Certification Preferred
- Business acumen and ability to interact effectively with all
levels organizationally.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement initiatives
and coordinate resources.
- Excellent time management, organization, and planning
skills
- Strong business analysis skills, proven meeting facilitation
and documentation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the
ability to share information effectively
- Builds strong productive relationships with key partners
- Advanced expertise with project management related software and
