prosper. The -Analytics, Modeling, and Decision Sciences (AMD)
-team within Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Analytics & Data
(A&D) owns all the management reporting, customer and product
behavior insights, and predictive modeling in support of Wealth
Management, Banking, and Firmwide Marketing. Description We are
currently looking for a VP to join Morgan Stanley's AIML Banking
Modeling Team under the Analytics, Modeling, and Decision Sciences
department. The goal of the group is to help the organization make
fact based and scientifically developed decisions around risk and
opportunities, which help drive top and bottom-line growth. The
position is expected to focus on the model development to support
banking NAA growth and product penetrations. T he person must be a
strategic thought leader with deep expertise in analytics and
modeling, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
in product, channel, technology, marketing, and analytics to drive
business results. At its core, success in this role involves
developing advanced modeling solutions that drive business
strategy. Key Responsibilities -Responsible for model development
and campaign execution to drive deposits and lending product NAA
growth - Drive improvement in modeling infrastructure, framework,
and process to standardize, automate, and scale up the model
development and deployment -Understand business goals and
strategies, apply advanced modeling techniques to drive results,
and effectively communicate model approach, status, and results
-Build solid partnership with wide range of business stakeholders
including product and channel owners, marketing and strategy,
banking analytics, MRM, Risk, Legal and Compliance, and fields
management -Constantly develop and look for new modeling
techniques, tools, and methods to improve the modeling performance
and capabilities This role requires that all successful applicants
be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment
and provide proof of such vaccinations within 3 days of
commencement of employment --------------------- Qualifications
-Master's degree (M.S.) or equivalent in quantitative fields
(statistics, mathematics, engineering, economics preferred) with 7+
years of hands-on modeling and/or advanced analytical work
experience -Power user of SQL, Python, R, or other equivalent
statistical software packages, Dataiku (preferred), with a high
standard of analytical rigor -Excellent problem-solving and
communication skills, able to explain complex statistical modeling
methodologies, analytical hypothesis, and findings as well as
outline applied business solutions -Highly motivated/ self-starter
with a sense of ownership, high degree of curiosity and desire to
succeed, comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment with
many concurrent deadlines -Experience working in financial services
industry a plus
