Description
- Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring
all costs incurred are properly recorded, as well as reviewing of
journal entries, account reconciliations and rollfowards
- Interact with the business unit controllers and International
Edinburgh hub to produce a timely, efficient and accurate month-end
close
- Prepare detailed account analyses as part of the month-end
close
- Responsible for overseeing multiple accounting areas, including
but not limited to, Internally Developed Software, Prepaid
Commissions, Fixed Assets, Earnouts related to acquisitions,
etc.
- Perform accounting due diligence and purchase accounting on
acquisitions
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX
environment
- Interpret and implement new accounting guidance
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit
results and compliance
- Make recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that
company policies and procedures are followed
- Assist with compilation of information for preparation of tax
returns
- Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual
Performance Plan.
- Completes all special projects and other duties as
assigned.

accommodation.Qualifications
- 5-8 years of accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional
audit firm experience strongly preferred) in applying U.S.
GAAP
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP rules required
- Effective documentation, teamwork and communication skills are
required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and
Outlook)
- Large ERP experience is a plus
- Experience in supervising employees a plus but not
required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work
collaboratively across teams
- Strong attention to detail, ability to self-review, and sense
of ownership
- Excellent organizational and planning skills; set goals,
establish priorities, utilize available resources and plan work to
meet deadlines and commitments
- BS degree in Accounting required
