Remote Excess and Surplus Commercial Transportation Claims Director

Job Description:

An insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Excess and Surplus Commercial Transportation Claims Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
Direct the operation of the department
Provide claims handling expertise to new product development and account creation and leads
Provide technical consultation/direction to all claim professionals. Functions as a content specialist to help develop training curricula
Position Requirements Include:

Ten years claims experience
Requires multi-line experience with exposure to the general agency system
Knowledge of the general agency system, state insurance department regulation, unfair claim handling regulations and a good understanding of tort law
