Marketing Director - Category Team leads, plans and guides
execution of the National Trade Marketing programs for all
Proximo's brand strategies to increase brand awareness and support
profitable growth. Oversees the Trade Marketing Category Team:
Tequila, Whiskey, Premium; and POS Team to ensure coordinated,
collaborative and effective planning and execution of the overall
category team portfolio.Role & Responsibilities
- Develop the Trade Marketing strategy and vision for all Proximo
brands
- Oversee the management and execution of all National Trade
Marketing & Brand retail & on-premise programs for all Proximo
brands
- Ensure Trade Marketing strategies align with broader
organization objectives
- Identify new and innovative partnerships that would enhance
brand reach/visibility and help meet and/or exceed KPIs
- Responsible for measuring programs return on investment and
ensuring "learnings" are embedded in future programs.
- Shares best practices & learnings across the various
categories, brands and sales teams
- Plan and manage National Sales Meeting, bringing together the
brands and Sales to provide status update on current and future
programs, and the state of the business
- Maintain database of all Trade Marketing assets to provide
Brands, Sales, external partners, agency partners with easy access
to up-to-date content
- Lead, coach and develop a team that provides meaningful and
actionable insights and commercial solutions that are data-driven
and support the brand's commercial strategyKey Competencies

Media/Social/Digital/Experiential/PRKnowledge and Experience
- A minimum of 7+ years' experience in marketing (preferred Trade
Marketing/Commercial Marketing) role or similar function
- Experience in beer, wine or spirits sector required
- Strong track record of developing and implementing innovative
commercial marketing strategies that have consistently met or
exceeded planned goals
- Understands consumer insights and aligns all strategies to feed
these needs
- Understands current marketing trends, new media platforms and
benchmarking with other industries
- Strong communication skills; ability to collaborate with and
communicate at all levels of the organization
- Experience managing high-performing teams
