Job Description:

The Project Senior Lead is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the management of significant projects may manage a department, product or process with a large amount of independence.
  • Identifies stakeholders and key organizations and build and manage relationships with each.
  • Directs the creation of multiple projects of work and manage their alignment to business goals.
  • Leads the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional macro level topics within/across projects and with Senior Management.
  • Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established projects of work.
  • Works with stakeholders to ensure project scope definition meets business objectives.
  • Works with Project Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives.
  • Drives adherence to project processes, procedures, methods, and standards for project delivery and leverage across the project.
  • Assists project team in negotiating for resources owned by other departments in order ensure the project can be completed.
  • Directs the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
  • Directs the identification of risks which impact project delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
  • Develops and exercises business plans, policies and procedures and may also be responsible for various projects to improve efficiencies.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:
    • 10+ years of experience
    • Technical expert and known internally and externally as reliable, knowledgeable resources
    • Clear understanding of the firm's different businesses and the related economics.
    • Demonstrated a consistent track record having worked as a Project Manager, Lead, PMO or department head, managing teams and large, strategic cross-functional projects.
    • CAPM, PMP, PgMP and/or MBA are a plusEducation:
      • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferredDetailed Job Overview:Business Analyst to join the High Performance Architectures / Citigroup Global Markets Team, which primarily consists of resources across London, Belfast, New York, Jersey City, Mississauga, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Pune.The primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be to work on detailed business analysis and project management of projects cross Markets consisting of multiple asset class related to STI-EXIT and other projects with many programs having global impact.The primary scope of work includes:
        • Working with the business on project/enhancement lists and working with them to define prioritization,
        • Gathering and documenting requirements,
        • Co-ordination with testing teams for releases,
        • Providing implementation / post-implementation support,
        • Managing projects end-to-end.
        • Coordination with CTI infrastructure teams and 3rd party co-located datacenters venders
        • Datacenter migration both on infrastructure and Application side
        • Co-ordination with AppDev on applications migration and tracking.This will require frequent interaction with stakeholders at many levels of the organization, from junior analysts to senior management, across multiple departments including the Front Office Business, Middle Office, Finance, Compliance, Technology, and external vendors.Duties & Responsibilities:
          • Business analysis effort to deliver critical projects across Markets.
          • Requirements gathering to Citi standards
          • Management of project deliveries - business, tech mandatory and regulatory, as assigned
          • Chairing and driving status meetings, and other meetings as needed
          • Resolve day-to-day project issues and conflicting workload priorities
          • Reporting on project statuses, next steps and issues / risks to stakeholders and sponsors
          • Project oversight and cost/effort estimation
          • Assisting and supporting user community with change management- Overseeing production of test cases- Ensuring release contents understood by the business, including producing release notes- Tracking release cyclesKnowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
            • Experience: -
              • Significant Business Analysis / Project Management experience across the full project lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing and deployment). -
              • Proven delivery record of multiple projects involving process change and technology enhancements. -
              • Equities front office experience, particularly in the Cash Equities Client and Market Connectivity area is preferred
              • Thorough understanding of FIX specification
              • Understanding of the Pre-trade , Compliance & Regulatory - controls
              • Understanding of regulatory constraints and experience in delivering regulatory projects is extremely desirable
              • Exposure to Agile project management is preferred
              • Exposure to Jira, Confluence, and Sharepoint is preferred
                • Skill set requires evidence of : -
                  • Ability to handle complex projects independently
                  • Problem-solving and facilitation skills
                  • Team leadership experience
                  • Knowledge of the key functions and processes of Delta 1 and Cash business
                  • Self-motivation and prioritization of tasks and actions to hit deadlines according to business priorities
                  • Strong inter-personal skills
                  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach
