Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Billing Operations Manager for their NYC, NY office location. The Billing Manager is an integral member of the Finance team who drives the process of value invoicing, revenue realization, and accounts receivable (A/R) management for the organization. You will be responsible for managing a team of billing coordinators to create, distribute, and follow-up on all invoices, responding to billing questions, managing invoicing corrections and completing productivity-related reporting.Responsibilities of the Billing Manager will be to:Oversee billing process to ensure all invoices are prepared in compliance with firm policies in a timely manner and accounts receivables / cash collections are consistently monitored, controlled, and managed.Act as a liaison between senior leadership, engineering management team members, and coordination team members on billing and accounts receivables matters.Report and recommend process, policy, and performance improvements by overseeing, distributing, and managing the following monthly reports: Productivity Review and Detail Bridge, Monthly Invoicing Report (MIR), Current Billing Analysis (CBA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), Unbilled to Invoice, Prebilled to Value-Add. Additionally, the following weekly reports will fall in the Billing Manager's purview: (Time Analysis, Actual vs. Target).Act as Administrator and maintain the integrity of the Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) system(s) Deltek Vision to ensure access controls and data integrity.Manage time sheets and expense reporting process approvals, posting logs in Deltek Vision, etc.Identify and recommend improvements to existing procedures; ensure the quality and integrity of the client billing process within current firm policies.Review issues with the billing team to ensure that errors and rejections are resolved in a timely, accurate, and effective manner.Monitor and assess the client support of the department. Communicate with senior leadership regarding areas of concern and non-performance and non-conformance with concerning client billing and collections.Document, formalize, and standardize current and future billing and A/R processes using standard operating procedures (SOP).Work closely with project team and clients to ensure that required documents (purchase orders, contracts, invoicing instructions, etc.) are received to facilitate billing.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field.5+ years of related experience.Have intermediate knowledge of Deltek Vision or Financial Force and Microsoft Office.Possess knowledge of construction AIA and schedule of value billing experience.Have experience working with contracts/proposals relating to professional services.Salary: $100,000K-$110,000K yearBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision insurance, PTO, Vacation, etc.Candidates will send an updated resume to apply for immediate consideration and we will contact you for an initial phone screen.Why Work with Volt?
