Job Description - Vice President - Basel & Capital Reporting Manager (COR002547) Vice President - Basel & Capital Reporting Manager ( Job Number: COR002547 ) Business Overview: The US Financial & Regulatory Reporting Team is responsible for the production of financial and regulatory reports to ensure compliance to regulatory expectations as well as internal monitoring and management reporting requirements. The Basel & Capital Reporting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Basel/RWA/Capital reporting to ensure BNP Paribas is in compliance with regulatory reporting and capital planning requirements. *Physical presence in BNPP's office(s) is an essential function of this position. -BNPP requires all of our employees to be vaccinated in order to access its offices, subject to reasonable accommodations for reasons related to disability or religion.             • Ensure team organization, reporting capabilities, processes and tools continue to meet all internal and external reporting needs. O versee the end-to-end production and control of Basel III/RWA/Capital reporting, as well as continuous improvement projects to streamline and enhance reporting processes.
            • Provide formal review and final sign-off attesting to the accuracy of the team's reports and outputs; ensure timeliness and effective controls are consistently applied.
            • Oversee production and ensure runbook across all reports are systematically executed in a timely fashion, meeting pre-defined internal and external deadlines.
            • Ensure 1st level control framework is established and executed, including continuous review and refinement.
            • Continuously improve BAU processes, control framework and governance.
            • Follow regulatory announcements to anticipate new or changes to reporting requirements and ensure BNPP's on-going compliance to regulatory reporting requirements. Work with various stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of capabilities.
            • Present results to senior management for validation; perform analysis and address inquiries.
            • Ensure issues are properly tracked and followed, d rive issue resolution and escalate to senior management as required.
            • Serve as key point of contact on all matters related to Basel/RWA/Capital Reporting. Liaise with senior management (e.g. CFO, Head of Treasury), governing bodies (e.g. IHC Audit Committee and IHC Board of directors), regulator (FRB) and internal and external auditors.
            • Support regulatory exam, internal audits, as well as statutory audits, including process walkthroughs, data collection, report explains, and detailed analysis.
            • Support production of other ad hoc management updates, analysis, or other research required for change management, automation, and other research / assessment effort.
            • Performs other duties as required. Minimum Required Qualifications
              • 10+ years of financial regulatory reporting experience within Financial Services Industries.
              • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
              • Ability to understand complex financial products and system architectures, accounting business processes, financial and management reporting (IFRS and US GAAP), month-end financial close process, entity consolidations and multi-currency accounting.
              • Control mindset with strong organization and managerial skills.
              • Change management and analytical skills.
              • Ability to build relationships across functional teams, detailed oriented, and strong leadership skills. -
              • Deep knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and Basel III standards; knowledge of capital adequacy requirements (Basel III) and RWA calculations.
              • Knowledge of CCAR reporting. Preferred Qualifications;
                • Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
                • Expertise in FBO and IHC reporting requirements
                • Internal or external audit background. CPA/CFA is preferred
