The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office an average of two to three days per week with the remainder worked remotely.Job Summary:Responsible for effective operations within the organization. Develops and implements operating policies and procedures across functions such as: customer service, quality control standards, purchasing, inventory control, materials management, distribution and facilities maintenance and planning. Conducts and reviews feasibility of new or revised systems and procedures. Manages the internal audit process to ensure compliance with organizational standards. Day-to-day focus is on resolution of complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes. Role at this level usually has full ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.Major Responsibilities:Credit Line Control: Establish and maintain accurate booking of all credit facilities in the mainframe systems for PRCBD. This function includes:

  • Reviewing daily warning and exception reports.
  • Monitoring expiring credit facilities and commitments and other credit exceptions.
  • Assimilating pertinent facility information and recording details of such on a Document Checklist at each facility booking.
  • Recoding credit applications and approvals in the database.
  • Inputting facility information into the Tickler System and Terms and Condition Reports.
  • Coordinating facility booking activities with Client Services, Seattle/Portland, SF, and ODA-NY.Document Control: Perform document processing and control for PRCBD branches:
    • Monitoring and confirming documentation requirements for credit facilities.
    • Reviewing documents for completeness and appropriateness.
    • Ensuring proper scanning and filing of documents in the document vault for permanent safekeeping.Rating Control: Establish and control accurate Borrower Rating data for PRCBD customers:
      • Maintaining the integrity of rating information on mainframe systems.
      • Preparing lists of current and past due ratings.
      • Reviewing and correcting rating data provided by the head-office.Portfolio Management:
        • Processing the financial statements and other documents & reports received from the front office and outer branches.
        • Preparing the upcoming items reports for analysts and account officers.
        • Preparing the monthly past due report on Tickler System items.Customer Data Integrity: Maintain and ensure integrity of customer static information on the bank's CDL system and ACBS.
          • Collecting and inputting customer information in the CDL and ACBS (as applicable).
          • Coordinating customer data matters with relationship managers, Client Services, and DAD-NY.
          • Maintaining an official list of LA Branch customers that matches the data on the CDL System.Qualifications:
            • 7-8 years of commercial banking experience with concentration in documentation and operations.
            • Capable of utilizing bank's mainframe computer systems and software applications, particularly ACBS, CDL, IMMS, Systematics, Decision Analyzer, Business Objects, KYC-R, and G-CARS. --- Knowledge of UCC Revised Article 9.
            • Capable of independently performing complex or varied tasks, coordinating and analyzing data.
            • Excellent analytical skills.
            • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate frequent interactions with persons both internal and external to the Bank.
            • Ability to recognize risks and make decisions based on sensory data or known guidelines.
            • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions (verbal, written or diagrammatic) with strong detail orientation.The typical base pay range for this role is between $75K - $90K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
