Position Overview:
The Regional Vice President, Sales Development is responsible for leading and directly managing a team of Sales Development Managers across our Americas Business (US & Canada). This is the perfect role for an ambitious leaderwho is excited by the prospect of providing hands-on leadership and guidance, while driving ambitious targets in the Americas market.
The Sales Development team is tasked with prospecting and setting up qualified appointments for the AMERsales team to pursue and ultimately sign new clients or grow existing business. This is a great role for a passionate leader who is looking for the autonomy to help grow the business with a solution-oriented and analytical approach.
Key Responsibilities


  • This role will be responsible for building pipeline for the Americas sales team(s)
  • Determine capacity planning by team and solution set
  • Lead and empower a team of Sales Development Managers across the US and Canada to achieve and exceed core KPIs and goals. A core part of this role is championing our SDR team to reach their maximum potential and progress their careers with Diligent.
  • Support in the management of all leads by creating consistency via both marketing driven and outbound strategy and processes.
  • Be able to analyze results from marketing campaigns and deliver impactful feedback to Commercial Leadership.Partner with key stakeholders in marketing & sales to provide an effective feedback loop on lead quality, volume, and demo quality, to ultimately build pipeline to achieve revenue goals.
  • Ensure and enforce Salesforce compliance, meaning reports are up to date and leads are being followed up on in a timely manner and conversion rates are at an appropriate level.
  • Create and deliver accurate analysis of individual/team results and maintain reporting to accurately track and manage SDR metrics.
  • Play a key role in the recruitment and onboarding of new SDR's along with future organizational strategy.

    Required Experience/Skills

    • Proven success within a sales development management position with proven experience in managing teams across different regions and solution offerings.
    • A demonstrated understanding of sales processes and building inbound/outbound Sales Development models in a high growth organization.
    • Proven experience of being a strategic partner to the commercial leaders to build a successful SDR model to support the Business Unit objectives.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior level executives.
    • Excellent presentation skills both verbally and written.
    • High energy, results and metrics driven with a positive attitude.

      Experience managing teams with sales management and lead generation software tools (Salesforce, Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism, Pitchbook, Zoom, etc.)
      FLSA Status: Exempt
