responsible for identifying Cross Border payments end-to-end
solutions focused on a client-centric approach to developing new
solutions that address known and future client needs in addition to
creating synergy opportunities for business growth readiness,
creating consistency with client experience and in the operating
model and identifying areas for technology investments. The team
will transform current state processes and technology platforms by
employing design principles to address identified pain points.
- Review the Cross Border Payments offering today
- Identify pain points and short term fixes
- Support the five core client segments
- Focus on strategic solutions
- Streamline interactions across teams and functions
- Provide visibility across business silos Working in conjunction
with relevant Product, Operations and Technology teams, the team
will develop the Operations strategy, manage stakeholders and work
with the delivery organization. The position requires someone who
can function successfully in a collaborative environment.
Possessing strong analytic and communication skills, the candidate
will need to deliver business solutions by understanding the
client's needs and working with the delivery organization to build
solutions to meet them. The successful applicant will:
- Lead business analyst for defining the business requirements
for development and commercialization in order to meet the firm's
business objectives
- Identify creative and timely solutions to key program
challenges while motivating and working with partner teams to
complete critical tasks
- Articulate and document process flows including customer
interactions, Ops intervention, end to end flows, data handoffs,
etc.
- Ability to understand the Client requirements, their usage of
the Product and prioritise the requirements based on data
analysis
- Understand the risks and propose mitigation options
- Perform impact analysis for business initiatives to determine
key business groups that will consequently be required to undergo
technical or operational process change
- Document the Business Requirements required to enable
development groups to build target state products, processes and
technology
- Conduct gaps/differences analysis as required to determine
degree of change emergent from business initiatives
- Conduct a thorough transition process to ensure that following
the approval of Business Requirements, all functional groups across
Operations, Technology, and Service units are clear and informed on
what is required for their respective target state models to be
determined
- Defect analysis, prioritization and exploring alternative
solutions
- Coaching and mentoring the Associate business analysts and
junior resources in the team Required Skills / Experience
- 10+ years of Product development / delivery, business /
corporate development, or strategy leadership experience within the
financial services industry
- Understanding of the broader external market
- Ability to build partnerships and work in a collaborative
environment
- Strategic thinker with the ability to motivate and drive
tactical execution
- Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and
differentiated solutions
- Solid track record of success in supporting large-scale
initiatives
- Ability to lead virtual requirements teams across geographies -
Proficiency in the following:
- Relationship building and influencing skills
- Analytical skills and attention to detail in written
documentation
- Organizational skills and time management
- Communication skills - able to articulate a business vision or
requirement through multiple business functions and at differing
management levels
