Organization & Department Overview:
The ICG Chief Data Office (CDO) is critical to managing Citigroup's
businesses and to meet numerous regulatory and management reporting
requirements. The ICG CDO partners with Citigroup's Enterprise
Chief Data Office (ECDO), ICG businesses, operations & technology,
as well as Global Functions including Finance, Risk, and Compliance
in an enterprise-wide data quality management discipline
continuously striving to improve, monitor, measure, and control
data quality. This team's remit also includes delivering project
management, business analysis, and strategic planning services
leading to improved controls and efficiencies in infrastructure and
operational processes. The ICG CDO is responsible for planning,
implementation, communications, training, compliance monitoring,
and establishment of Citigroup's Controlled Data Management
Environment supporting our Enterprise Information Assets.The
Metrics and Reporting Lead/Manager is accountable for reporting and
metrics for ICG CDO reporting to the Head of ICG CDO Data Quality
Governance and Metrics. Responsible for managing metrics and
reporting to internal/external partners including senior management
on key ICG CDO initiatives. This position will drive the analytical
capabilities of the ICG CDO function for key initiatives across the
Data Transformation Program including Data Quality, Risk &
Controls, Program Management and Master & Reference Data. This
position will interface with a broad spectrum of key partners
including Global Functions (Finance, Risk, and Compliance), Global
Functions Technology, ICG Business Lines and their DGOs, ICG
Operations & Technology leadership and Enterprise CDO. Excellent
commercial awareness is a necessity for this
role.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the strategic approach and implementation of
the Metrics framework across ICG
- Manage an execution team to deliver on the strategic
approach
- Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to
drive targeting and segmentation strategies, and communicate
clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders all
findings
- Lead senior management and business communications providing
detailed and regular executive reporting, coordinating regular
forums and meeting councils
- Represents ICG in cross functional forums, and report updates
and escalations to Senior Management through various governance
processes and forums
- Develop standards and best practices with strong partnership
with Enterprise CDO and ICG Line of Businesses.
- The role requires exceptional MS Power Point and visualization
skills, an understanding of how to synthesize large amount of data
into an executive view and experience producing high quality
executive presentations
- Enforce a cultural change in the ICG LOBs leveraging a high
understanding of the business and different roles with varying
skillsetsQualifications:
- 10+ years' experience in leading metrics and reporting across
large organization,. Investment banking knowledge and experience
preferred
- Previously worked for large consulting firms including Big 4,
highly preferred
- Previous experience in leading and managing metrics team in a
hybrid model
- Exceptional analytical, database and SQL skills to support
data/quantitative analysis
- Expert proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Visualization tools
like Tableau, but not limited to
- Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to
lead communication through direct and matrix reporting lines
- Strong executive presence; confident in developing
communication with a balanced view to key stakeholders, senior
management, and IT partners
- Creative problem-solving skills with a passion to drive
analytics
- Ability to give focused attention to details and deliver high
quality work while managing competing priorities under
pressure
- Ability to deliver in ambiguous and changing environments and
demonstrate both flexible and resilient approach
- Outstanding executive communications skills
- Demonstrated facility to interact and work effectively with
diverse teamsEducation:
- Bachelors/University degree, Master's degree preferred
- Data Quality/Data Management Certification
