Percentages can vary week to week depending on work priority.SPECIFIC ROLE: RCM's client is looking to add an experienced IT Data & Analytics Manager to its current IT Operations and Data Management team.In this position, the candidate will utilize their in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry from marketing, pricing models, workflow tools, and policy administration interpreted by way of data. You will migrate and centralize the RCM Client's enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) Data into a single cloud data platform to house enterprise data in a central location while enhancing the user experience and in support of the growing demand of reporting, advanced analytics, and executive decision-based reporting use cases.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: The Data & Analytics Manager will primarily be responsible for the following:

• Partner with the RCM client's business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and shape the company's data strategy accordingly.
• Support the evolution of the data infrastructure across Underwriting Platform, pricing tools and integration with downstream processes (internal + external data feeds).
• Own the development of internal database systems and platforms across all the client's platforms by providing technical assistance and oversight to developers.
• Ensure that data integrity and ongoing data cleanup/data quality activities are done in accordance with the data governance program.
• Proactively tune database performance to ensure defined business requirements and service level agreements are met.
• Works closely with the VP of Information Technology and Compliance to ensure the database infrastructure is properly patched, monitored, and maintained.
• Diagnose and resolve database problems as they occur.
• Enhance the client's internal BI reports to create additional insights into client overall performance.
• Enable business users to create their own reports through Power BI and Alteryx or other compatible software products in the future with properly secured access rights to the databases.TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of project management experience for application and data integration projects
  • Detailed knowledge of project management and software development life cycle methodologies
  • Proven experience managing mid-sized to large IT integration projects independently.
  • Background in Property & Casualty Commercial Insurance desired
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with an ability to effectively manage cross-functional team discussions.
  • Strong management skills with an ability to achieve results in a matrix management environment.
  • Ability to translate business needs into IT deliverables.
  • Strong business planning, organizing, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully apply waterfall, agile and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Multi-disciplinary information technology familiarity with proven systems deployment experience
  • Experience using Project and Portfolio Management tools (MS Project, Planview, SharePoint, etc.)GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Experience with data management and data governance practices
    • Strong skills in troubleshooting, performance tuning, security, backup/recovery, and monitoring of large database management systems.
    • Ability to independently run technical projects and directly interface with the business and vendors.
    • Good interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve.
    • Advanced knowledge of Data Management tools, techniques, and programing languages
    • Demonstrates general understanding of overall data models, data relationships, mapping lineage and business rules.
    • Experience performing data analytics, managing complex SQL queries, and working with BI platforms such as Alteryx or Power BI
    • Experience with data profiling & data quality, recommending improvements to best practices.
    • Proven track record in the Property & Casualty insurance industry
    • Experience with Salesforce, Salesforce Velocity, Instec or other Policy administration systems is a plus.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
