Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, LLC seeks an Assistant Vice President
in Jersey City, NJContribute to the formulation and execution of
Wealth Management data lake strategy to support the architecture
and development of next-gen data and analytics ecosystem. Help to
build and improve scalable data products and capabilities
leveraging data, analytics, and AI, to drive critical business
use-cases across marketing, sales, servicing, and advisory. Help to
build centralized data stores to power data needs across analytics,
data science, reporting, and batch/real-time data products. Perform
experimentations and evaluations for wealth management use-cases
using real customer data, to define, design, and test data
products, features, and stores. Build robust batch and real-time
data integrations to create a unified customer experience between
digital, financial consultant and financial advisor channels.
Enable the migration of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management data,
analytics/ML use-cases, and analytics/data science users from
on-premises to cloud. Partner with business, analytics, and data
science teams to translate business needs to tech architecture and
requirements, develop robust roadmaps, and partner with tech teams
to build and test the solutions. Handle all aspects of data quality
and integrity in partnership with data governance and technology
teams.Requirements:Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics,
Analytics, or a related field of study and two (2) years of
experience in the position offered or two (2) years as an Analyst,
Data Scientist, or a closely related occupation. Requires two (2)
years of experience with: SQL; AWS, Azure, and Spark; MySQL;
Tableau; Pandas. Requires one (1) year of experience: Python;
Hadoop, Hive, and DB2; D3, Seaborn, ggplot, and Matplotlib; NLP,
and Jupyter Notebooks; statistical and ML techniques including
regression and Sckit-learn. The National Labor Exchange is a

Association of State Workforce Agencies.
