Working at the intersection of business and technology, you'll interact with colleagues in various lines of businesses to learn about challenges and opportunities, and translate that insight into high-impact and quality solutions. In addition to working with the development team to create new products, you'll help leverage existing AI/ML -capabilities to drive additional value. While your role requires deep technological skills, it also hinges on teamwork and leadership. You'll offer clear guidance and feedback to your data science, engineering and product colleagues, while promoting the values, culture, and brand of JPMorgan Chase & Co. This role will involve a number of demanding and exciting opportunities:
  • Engage closely with various lines of business, primarily but not limited to JPMorgan Private Bank, to understand, analyze and conceptualize solutions that will apply existing and available Machine Learning capabilities to solve strategic high-value business problems
  • Build and extend AI/ML products with high-impact business value-add - drive product development with both technology team and business partners
  • Evangelize the power of AI/ML with the business partners
  • Develop POCs of various solutions, including demo-able prototypes and baseline ML models
  • Perform hands-on exploratory data analyses, model prototyping and comparative experiments
  • Lead agile teams comprised of business-aligned product owners, data scientists and ML engineers
  • Objectively measure product value by projecting business outcomes, collecting usage metrics and reporting against objectives and key results
  • Work collaboratively both within teams and across organizations, while developing meaningful relationships to achieve common goals and business outcomes Required qualifications:
    • MBA degree/CFA or equivalent business experience
    • 5+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, ideally with AI / ML related products
    • Deep understanding of one or multiple areas of financial services (e.g. investment management, sales, client prospecting, etc)
    • Strategic thinking and passion for applying AI and ML for disruptive business outcomes
    • Expertise in Python, data analysis (including SQL and JSON) and ML model development (including deep learning models)
    • Past experience with NLP (natural language processing) and/or LLMs (large language models) a big plus
    • Proven ability to work with multiple technology teams to built all phases of a Machine Learning product, from data pipelines, all the way to inference and model monitoring
    • Experience defining user experience needs, writing user stories, creating product value propositions, developing features and benefits and developing roadmaps
