Overview

The Bank of New York Mellon seeks Lead Manager, Applications Development in Jersey City, NJ, to provide analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support for the client area application systems in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environments, software, hardware, technology, and tools. Develop design requirements, design, test, document and implement systems and programs. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or a foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Analyzing and translating business requirements into technical use cases, designing application architecture, and building/merging BI platforms into a highly scalable and robust shared service focusing on cost saving and enabling best practices; Performing sizing, upgrades, migrations, fully automated deployments using DevOps technologies and supporting BI Products and versions including SAP BOXIR2/BOXI31/BI4x, Tableau 8/9/10/2020, Jaspersoft 6.1/6.3/7.5, and Web Focus 8.5; Working with Virtual Private Cloud Environments by applying DevOps skills in automating BI Server deployments using Eclipse, Python, SVN/GIT, Jenkins, and Nexus Repository; Building wrapper using JAVA API's and/or Shell and Bash scripts for integrating with other tools and automating application health check, onboardings, other end-user tasks via 1Desk and IPA; and Building SQL queries for audit data extraction and analyzing data to understand the application usage pattern.Salary range: $157,477.00-$175,000.00 Qualified applicants please apply online at https://bnymellon.eightfold.ai/careers and utilize reference code #41484.
