As a Product Manager in Sales Optimization product team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. In this role, you will collaborate across the Sales Optimization Product "quad" (product, technology, design and data) to define Objectives and Key Results and deliver a roadmap that achieves those outcomes. -



Job responsibilities



  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition leveraging JIRA -
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Own the facilitation of Sales Optimization agile ceremonies (refinement, demos, retros, etc.) in partnership with other members of "the quad" supporting the product
  • Lead collaborative partnerships with Product Owners and teams across technology, finance, legal and operations, ensuring completeness of business requirements, clear understanding of operational impacts and resolution of operational issues related to the requirements raised
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and other team members to proactively plan and prioritize the product backlog and define product vision, roadmap and synergies



    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills



    • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
    • 5+ years' experience in product management; Salesforce and/or vendor management experience preferred
    • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
    • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
    • Experience documenting agile initiatives, epics and stories through JIRA, with a particular focus on well-documented and automatable acceptance criteria
    • Keen attention to detail and proven experience of interacting directly with end-users, fact-finding and drilling down into their needs and issues
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to effectively explain the front-line impact (the why should I care) of seemingly technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders

      • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
      • Organizational and project management skills; proven ability to manage multiple priorities and urgent deadlines; must be able to demonstrate speed, flexibility, and the ability to work in a constantly changing environment
      • Relentless curiosity to ask questions and identify the potential ambiguity of requests with the goal of designing a system that can flexibly absorb future changes and support a learning agenda to answer the unknowns
      • Creates a climate in which people want to do their best; motivates and empowers others by inviting input from each person and sharing ownership and visibility
