As a Capital One Sr. Manager Software Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to lead a major transformation within Capital One.What You'll Do:

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of experienced developers in distributed microservices and full stack systems to meet regulatory needs.
• Stay updated on tech trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in tech communities, mentor peers, and occasionally code or review code.
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enhance experiences for millions of Americans.
• Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools.Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 6 years of software engineering experience (internships excluded)
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Minimum 4 years of people management experiencePreferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • 9+ years in JavaScript, Java, Python, or AngularJs
  • 3+ years with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services
  • 4+ years in open source frameworks
  • 7+ years of people management experience
