Position: Data Architect and Strategist with healthcare payer
domain ExpertiseLocation: New Jersey Type: Full-Time Position
Overview:As a Data Architect and Strategist, you will play a
crucial role in designing and implementing data architectures that
support our strategic objectives in the healthcare payer domain.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is
structured, managed, and utilized effectively to drive insights and
inform decision-making.Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture Design: Develop and implement scalable data
architectures that align with business goals, ensuring high
performance and security in data handling.
- Data Strategy Development: Define and execute data strategies
that leverage analytics to enhance operational efficiency, improve
patient outcomes, and support regulatory compliance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders,
including IT, analytics, clinical, and business teams, to gather
requirements and ensure data solutions meet organizational
needs.
- Data Governance: Establish and maintain data governance
policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data integrity,
quality, and security.
- Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend data management
tools, technologies, and platforms that align with the
organization's strategic goals.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to
junior data professionals, fostering a culture of continuous
improvement and innovation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of healthcare regulations
and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA) to ensure data strategies
align with legal standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and evaluate data
systems and processes, implementing improvements as
needed.Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Master s degree
preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Data
Architect or in a similar role, with a focus on healthcare payer
systems and data management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes,
and database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). Familiarity with data
visualization tools and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of healthcare payer
operations, including claims processing, risk management, and
regulatory compliance.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving
abilities, with experience in deriving insights from complex data
sets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication
skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to
non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Experience with project management
methodologies and tools, with a track record of managing multiple
projects simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in data management or related fields (e.g.,
CDMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Experience with healthcare analytics and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in healthcare
data.
