registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A certified school nurse is needed to provide
comprehensive nursing services in an elementary school setting near
Orange, NJ. This full-time, contract position offers an opportunity
to deliver quality care to students while supporting their health
and well-being within the school community. Location: Onsite near
Orange, NJ Schedule: 35 hours per week Duration: Immediate start
through June 26, 2026 Caseload: Elementary school, servicing the
entire building Responsibilities include: - Delivering school
nursing services tailored to the needs of an elementary school
student body - Conducting health assessments, managing chronic
conditions, and administering medications as needed - Collaborating
with school staff, students, and families to promote a healthy and
safe learning environment - Maintaining accurate health records and
complying with state regulations - Responding to emergencies and
providing first aid as necessary Qualifications: - Current and
active Registered Nurse (RN) license and Certified School Nurse
(CSN) certification in New Jersey - Proven school nursing
experience in a school setting (clinical-only experience not
accepted) - Strong understanding of pediatric health issues, common
illnesses, and school health policies - Excellent communication and
organizational skills to manage a schoolwide caseload Benefits: -
