Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Neuro ICU/SICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift Location New Jersey Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:15), with every other weekend required. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Neuro ICU/SICU Registered Nurse with strong critical care skills to provide direct patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuro and surgical intensive care, ensuring high-quality support for critically ill patients. Responsibilities - Manage care for patients with acute renal failure, GI surgeries, CVAs, TBIs, and ventilated patients. - Administer treatments and medications per established protocols. - Monitor patient vital signs and adjust care plans based on analysis of data. - Utilize advanced equipment, including Pulmonary Artery Lines, Swan Ganz monitoring, and CVVHD/CRRT. - Document patient care in EPIC to maintain accurate medical records. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - 1.5 years of acute care experience, particularly in Neuro ICU/SICU. - Active NJ or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission. - Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. - Strong skills in EKG interpretation, IV management, and advanced monitoring techniques. - Experience with IABP, Impella, LVAD, and other critical care technologies is preferred.
