Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - OR (Contract) Location: Bridgeport, CT Unit: Diagnostic Radiology Duration: 12-Week Assignment Role Overview St. Vincent’s Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Rad Tech - OR to join our Diagnostic Radiology team in Bridgeport, CT. This is a long-term allied health contract (12 weeks) focused on providing exceptional imaging support within the Operating Room environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with surgical imaging equipment and a commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities - Perform high-quality radiographic procedures specifically within the Operating Room (OR) setting. - Operate and maintain specialized equipment including C-Arms, O-Arms, and power injectors. - Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure precise imaging during various procedures. - Maintain a sterile field and adhere to all radiation safety protocols. - Ensure accurate documentation and image management within the hospital’s digital systems. Requirements & Qualifications - Experience: Minimum of 2 years of dedicated OR Rad Tech experience. - Technical Proficiency: Proven expertise in operating C-Arm and O-Arm technology, as well as power injector systems. - Licensure: * Current RT(R) (Registered Technologist in Radiography) certification. - Active Connecticut State License is mandatory. - Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Shift & Schedule Details - Shift Type: PM Shift - Hours: 40 hours per week (5 X 8-hour shifts) - Meal Break: 30 minutes - On-Call: No call requirements for this position.
