Department: ISH 2 positions available Salary: $44,000- $45,000
Location: Union, NJ based Work hou rs: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
and Saturday 9-5pm, Thursday 11-7pm.- (40 hours’ weekly) and/or
Sunday, Monday, Wednesday &, Thursday 9-5pm, Tuesday 10-6pm.
(40 hours weekly) POSITION OVERVIEW: As a member of the
multi-disciplinary Community Support Services team, provides
resource development, skill development and direct support to
assist people who have serious mental illness who are enrolled in
CSS to fully integrate into the community of their choice. REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in one of the helping professions,
such a social work, human services, counseling, psychiatric
rehabilitation, psychology, or criminal justice, from an accredited
college or university and will have a minimum of two years of
experience in a community-based behavioral healthcare setting.
Certification as a psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner may be
substituted for one year of experience. Staff employed under this
subsection cannot supervise others and shall work under the
supervision of a licensed physician, psychiatrist, psychologist,
advanced practice nurse, registered nurse, or master’s level
community support staff. Bachelor's degree from an accredited
college/university in one of the helping professions, such as
social work, human services, counseling, psychiatric
rehabilitation, psychology, or criminal justice. Master's degree
from an accredited college/university in one of the helping
professions, such as social work, human services, counseling,
psychiatric rehabilitation, psychology, or criminal justice.
Individuals with a Bachelor’s degree only in a field other than a
helping profession will have a minimum of two years of professional
experience in a community behavioral health care setting.
Certification as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner may be
substituted for one year of experience. Valid driver’s license
required- no more than one moving violation within the past 12
